How did I meet my husband?
I was 24 years old and working at Academy Sports and Outdoors(Tyler,Texas), where I worked there for 6 1/2 years. One of my best friends that I had made while working there kept saying that I need to meet a guy she knew (her brothers best friend) the first time she told me about him I kinda brushed it off and just told her I wasn’t ready! Which at the time I really wasn’t ready! A couple months later I truly felt happy with my life(and myself) and she just happened to be eating out with her family and Derek was there and she basically hooked us up right then and there and made him contact me! Well he asked me out on a date and the rest is history! He truly is my best friend and everything to me! I feel so lucky to have met him and have such an amazing husband and best friend to spend the rest of my life with!
