Most Instagrammable Murals in Charlotte, North Carolina

We had a whole day to explore Charlotte so we decided that we would find our favorite murals in the city. We realized quickly there was tons of them and we would not be able to see them all. I thought it would be fun to share the ones we saw and loved. This is always a fun photo opp in a new city and we had fun finding these gems.

Confetti Heart wall

This is one of the most well known murals in Charlotte so this was first up

Location- 1920 Camden Rd Charlotte, NC 28203

Park close to the Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream (wall is in the alley behind Jeni’s)

Below is behind Jeni’s Splendid Ice cream which is super cute and would be a cute photo with some ice cream. They were not open when we were here but next time I want to try the ice cream.

Flowers & Colorful Peace sign

This one we stumbled upon and it was soo so cute. The inside of this restaurant is super cute too but it wasn’t lunch time or open so we couldn’t go in. The flower wall is right behind the restaurant and the peace sign is on the side.

Location: Flower Child – 1537 Camden Rd Charlotte, NC 28203

This one is right down the road from Jeni’s ice cream

Donut Wall

When we heard there was a donut wall we had to find it. I mean who doesn’t love donut’s? Also makes for the perfect picture to post on national donut day! I mean look how cute!

Location : 2116 Hawkins St. Unit 102 Charlotte, NC  28203

Behind Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Drive all the way to the back of the parking lot and you will see it on the back wall

Colorful fun Stairs

Theses stairs honestly are so cool. The talent and time behind all these are absolutely incredible.

Location: 1100 Metropolitan Ave. Unit 125-E Charlotte, NC 28204

In front of Little Sugar Creek Greenway off the patio of Dressler’s. You will not see this one from the street but find a place to park and it’s a short walk.

Life is Good With Mickey

This one was random but I thought it was cute. I love mickey so had to take a quick photo

Location: This one is really close to the Dressler’s stairs. Its located across the street from Modern Salon & Spa.. this one is easy to spot right off the road. We actually parked in the little circle right close to this one. We were exploring these on Friday morning so there wasn’t many people out and about.

Magic Carpet

This one is so cool but a little tricky to find. I will explain in as much details below.

This is where we parked below on the side of the road and just walked over for some quick photos:  351–381 E Third St. Charlotte, NC  28202

This is the exact location below but parking is tricky around here. It’s right by the rail station and the Convention Center is across the street to the left a bit from the painted carpet.

245 E Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. Charlotte, NC  28202

Cool 3D Tunnel

This one is really close to the magic carpet so do these together.

So we just pulled in the parking lot quickly and took a picture.

Lotus Flower

This area is super cute. Would be a cute area to grab lunch or walk around. We were there early so nothing was really open at the time we drove by.

Location: 3120 N Davidson St. Charlotte, NC  28205 (Across from Reigning Doughnuts)

Roses and Women

This one we stumbled upon as well but it was really cool and must have taken a lot of work to do.

Location: From Reigning Doughnuts above Turn left on 36th street and drive about .3 mile you will see it on your left (before you get to Concept Cycles)

Historic Buildings Mural

This one we actually were trying to get to a different one but it took us to this one which is still really cool.

Location: 1545 W Trade St. Charlotte, NC  28216 (on the side of the JCSU arts factory)

Baby Yoda

This one is just too cute so we had to stop

Location : 1721 N Davidson St. Charlotte, NC  28206

(very easy to spot on the side of Noda Deli & Market)

We had the best time going around the city and finding these spots and also the ones that we stumbled across was even better. Such fun photo opps and a great way to spend a Friday morning in the city. I hope you enjoyed this and if you have any other awesome ones leave them in the comments.

Much love, Hannah
